About The Position

The Mobile Applications (iOS) Intern will assist with the development of Shure’s iOS applications. This may include work on audio recording/playback and video capture subsystems, interfacing with Shure hardware products, user experience, and R&D. The intern will also contribute to development planning and task estimation. This Internship is Hybrid in Niles, IL.

Requirements

Minimum one year of course work in Computer Science or related field
Basic knowledge of mobile application software development on iOS platform
Knowledge of iOS, and general software development, design principles
Able to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
Able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data
Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Shure will not sponsor applicants for this position for work visas.

Nice To Haves

Development experience using Swift, and preferably Objective-C, is desired

Responsibilities

Assists with development (coding) of mobile application software by providing technical expertise to internal company software developers
Collaborates with marketing, and test and system engineering to define platform mobile application software use cases and requirements
Assists with the creation of integration and unit tests for mobile application software with other Company proprietary software (embedded systems)
Estimates, organizes, and documents tasks
Performs other duties as assigned
