About The Position

Miller Homes is undergoing a digital transformation, and the Digital Content Delivery (DCD) team is leading this effort. The DCD team manages the complete development lifecycle for a suite of applications focused on customer journey, workforce productivity, and best practices. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated application developer with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to contribute to the delivery of projects aligned with our digital strategy. This role involves developing, improving, and maintaining smartphone apps and web apps, ensuring their reliability, security, and performance through regular updates and maintenance. The developer will also provide ongoing support and technical expertise for existing and new applications, including second-line support for employees.

Requirements

Essential technical skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, VS Code
Able to work in a team-oriented, multi-functional, collaborative environment.
System design or IT related college or university degree, ideally combined with a minimum of 6-12 months in a similar IT role

Nice To Haves

Desirable technical skills in React Native / Expo / Expo EAS, Azure DevOps, Github

Responsibilities

Development, improvement, and maintenance of new and existing smartphone apps and webapps
Ensure the ongoing reliability, security, and performance of mobile applications by regularly patching vulnerabilities, updating dependencies, and keeping the codebase current with the latest libraries, frameworks, and operating system versions.
Provide ongoing support and technical expertise on existing apps and the creation of any new apps which may be required.
Provide second-line support for employees regarding all apps within the business
