About The Position
Join Synmatch AI's client as a Mobile App Developer on the founding engineering team building the next generation of testing and analysis software for a global premium provider of measurement and testing instruments. You'll develop companion apps enabling seamless connectivity between professional instruments and cloud services for electrical trade, industry, and public institutions. Our client has decades of expertise in electrical safety, e-mobility, medical technology, power quality, and energy management systems. You'll create applications for smartphones and tablets that support field workflows, device connectivity, and offline-first operations for professionals working with high-quality measurement technology. This role combines mobile development expertise with industrial IoT connectivity, where you'll build apps that visualize measurement data, manage device interactions, and integrate with backend APIs while ensuring reliable performance in demanding field environments.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years building apps for phones and tablets
- 2+ years of strong Flutter expertise
- Deep understanding of Dart including ecosystem, asynchronous programming (Futures/Streams), and memory management
- Experience integrating mobile apps with REST APIs and backend services
- Experience handling offline data storage, synchronization, and connectivity challenges
- Understanding of mobile design best practices and user experience principles
- Curiosity about new and complex topics including electrical engineering concepts; willingness to understand large volumes of complex measurement data
Nice To Haves
- Background in industrial or technical product environments
- Experience with time-series or measurement data visualization
- Experience with test-driven development
- Experience with Bluetooth connectivity or hardware-connected applications
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain mobile applications for iOS, Android, and Windows using Flutter as the core framework
- Connect hardware via Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, or USB to make strong measurement and testing capabilities shine in workflows supporting users' objectives
- Efficiently store and process large volumes of measurement data and transform it into meaningful charts guiding users in their complex domain
- Integrate the application with API services of the new corporate cloud platform and collaboratively design the future ecosystem
- Maintain a scalable, robust, and reliable codebase covered by automated tests to keep pushing innovation via continuous delivery
