About The Position
Works under the delegation of the Systems Director of Laboratory Operations to oversee, coordinate, and administer all aspects of the ongoing Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program within the laboratory. This includes developing, planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling the program’s activities and accreditation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in laboratory/medical technology science
- Completion of an AMA approved laboratory training program
- MT(ASCP) (or equivalent) certification
- Previously qualified or could qualify as a general supervisor prior to 2/29/92 under 42 CFR 493.1427 (3/14/90)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer hardware and software use
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in related health care administration or equivalent
- Previous teaching experience
