About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of laboratory testing while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The position involves participation in quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing programs. The MLS/MLT will perform laboratory testing, manage equipment maintenance, inventory, and supplies, and collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care. Additionally, the role requires participation in the laboratory call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • MLS (ASCP), MT (ASCP), or equivalent certification required.
  • Must be eligible for and obtain state laboratory licensure within 30 days of employment.
  • Previous clinical laboratory experience required.

Responsibilities
