About The Position

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) is hiring an MLS/MLT I for its Owasso, Oklahoma location. This night-shift laboratory position works Wednesday through Saturday. The role performs testing across several laboratory areas, assists with phlebotomy and specimen processing, and maintains and troubleshoots instruments. The employee is expected to arrive prepared for scheduled shifts, complete assigned work within their demonstrated capabilities, and contribute to a professional, supportive, and productive team environment.

Requirements

• A.A.S. in Medical Laboratory Technology or a B.S. in Medical Technology.
• General laboratory knowledge, including computer use and knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory areas.
• Keyboard skills and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a professional, courteous attitude during heavy workloads and stress.
• Weekend rotation and holiday coverage are required.
• May be required to work overtime or other shifts or days as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, serology, blood bank, and limited microbiology.
• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Complete assigned duties and processes, including work for which fully qualified and work within demonstrated capabilities.
• Follow employee policies and work professionally and productively with fellow employees.
• Maintain a positive, professional, courteous, and supportive attitude, including during heavy workloads and stressful situations.
• Arrive on time and prepared for each scheduled shift.
