We are seeking an experienced MLOps Data Engineer to join our team supporting FDA related projects. The role is primarily aligned with our MLOps ModelOps platform which integrates Python, Java, Camunda or similar workflow engines, and Kubernetes (EKS). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning pipelines and production workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience with Java in production environments
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS
  • Familiarity with workflow engines such as Camunda, Activiti, or similar
  • Understanding of MLOps practices including CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring, and governance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, ModelOp, Kubeflow, SageMaker, etc.)
  • Exposure to Spring Cloud or microservices architecture
  • Experience with Apache NiFi is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain MLOps pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
  • Work with Python and Java to integrate ML models into production-grade systems
  • Implement and manage workflow orchestration using Camunda or equivalent workflow tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support model governance, compliance, and operationalization
  • Deploy and manage services on AWS EKS/Kubernetes
  • Contribute to system architecture discussions and propose improvements for scalability and reliability
  • Optional: Support or collaborate with teams using Spring Cloud, depending on project needs.
