About The Position

As a ML Software Engineering Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced hardware engineers to build and deploy AI/ML models that improve circuits and systems design workflows, and help push new hardware innovations forward. We are looking for motivated problem solvers with strong machine learning and software development skills, with an interest in applying AI to complex technical challenges at the intersection of software and hardware design. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in scripting and automation.
• familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, code organization, and collaborative development practices.
• Experience with data processing libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
• Understanding of methods for evaluating, validating, and improving AI/ML model performance in real-world applications.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, training, and evaluating machine learning models that support circuit design workflows.
• Developing models for circuit performance prediction, design-space optimization, and simulation acceleration.
• Building data pipelines and model-training workflows using simulation results, measurement data, circuit parameters, and design constraints.
• Working with a cross-functional team to understand model requirements and translate engineering needs into ML solutions.
• Preparing technical documentation and reports.
• Participating in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and technical discussions.
