About The Position

A mixologist serves as a beverage expert focused on the art of crafting, developing, and serving high-quality cocktails. Requirements

  • Must be able to prepare select cocktails in front of guests mixing ingredients, using advanced techniques (stirring, shaking, muddling).
  • Must be able to interact with fans, offering recommendations based on flavor preferences, and explaining cocktail ingredients and history.
  • Must be able to engage with fans and provide a memorable experience.
  • Must be able to set up assigned bar; requisition and stock all spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
  • Must be able to maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
  • Must be able to greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
  • Must be able to take and/or process orders for drinks; mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practice prudent portion control.
  • Must be able to check guests at the bar for proper identification.
  • Must be able to detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
  • Must be able to perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized.
  • Must be able to arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
  • Must be able to wash and sterilize stemware.
  • Must adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
