About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale is looking for an experienced Mixologist that has a passion for exceptional service and who infuses enthusiasm and passion into everything they do. The Mixologist is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Mixologist assures each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile. Provides hotel guests/patrons and servers with quick and efficient beverage service, following the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons standards of service. The Mixologist has a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar and ensures that all the details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of Mixology experience within the high end hotel/resort restaurant industry and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays. Candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to create elegant, balanced and refined cocktails utilizing local & seasonal ingredients. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and maintaining appropriate par levels for all beverage products and bar supplies. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile variances to minimize waste, loss, and product shortages. Candidate is expected to prepare all signature and classic cocktails on the menu to the established standard from memory. Expected to provide guests with exceptional service with a naturally positive, outgoing and natural style. Candidate must engage guests about offerings behind the bar and offer interesting and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste and preparation method. Must maintain working knowledge of all products served behind the bar and throughout the restaurant, inclusive of full food menu. Knowledge and ability to create house-made shrubs, bitters & shrubs required.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Mixology experience within the high end hotel/resort restaurant industry
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills

  • US work authorization is required
