About The Position
The Mixing / Production Operator is responsible for safely producing products in accordance with established batch formulations using mixing, blending, and packaging equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read English and perform basic math
- Experience operating production equipment
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Willingness to work overtime and off shifts
Responsibilities
- Produce products according to batch formulations using mixing, blending, and packaging equipment
- Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality procedures
- Accurately record material usage manually and in computer systems
- Complete batch documentation and production records
- Operate and monitor mixers, blenders, and packaging lines
- Adjust equipment to maintain safe and efficient operation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain work area cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional tasks
- Use computer systems for tracking production and performance
- Comply with Bostik, OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
- Perform minor maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning
- Complete tasks such as changeovers and startups on time
- Reduce waste and improve efficiency through problem solving
- Maintain product quality in line with ISO standards
- Support safety, operational, and financial performance goals
