About The Position

Seaman Corporation is seeking a Mixing Operator for A Shift, with a schedule of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. As of March 1, 2026, the company will transition to a 24/7 rotation with a 4:3 schedule, requiring flexibility to work within this new structure. The day shift will be from 7a-7p and the night shift from 7p-7a. This role is crucial for the efficiency of the mixing operation, ensuring the correct combination of chemicals and color matching for all compounds are prepared and supplied to the coating departments. The position involves promoting safety by adhering to all safety procedures and practices, mixing color pigments or pastes according to formula, making adjustments for color matching verification, delivering blended compounds to production lines in a timely manner, and documenting pick list information, printing and attaching pigment tickets.

Requirements

HS Diploma/GED required
Ability to bend, lift, stand repetitively throughout the shift
Ability to lift 50 lbs, throughout the work shift
Ability to work with hands, reach with hands and arms
Must be able to work within the 24/7 rotation with a 4:3 schedule
