About The Position

As a Mixing I operator, you will be responsible for proficiency in compounding within our Mixing department. You will report to the Production Supervisor and be part of the Production Team. This role is based in Beacon, New York. A day in the life of a Mixing I - Compounder can look like: Following the batch and recipe operator will select, weigh, and package (bag) items listed in recipes. Places packages of ingredients (for a given recipe) into a tote box or cart and places recipe card with it. Places tote or cart in specified hold area. Replenishes material supplies in compounding area from material storage area as necessary. Calls attention of supervisor or group leader when quantities of certain material seem to be approaching a minimum amount. Assist in employee training of operation and job responsibility. Must be willing and able to be cross-trained in all phases of mixing operation as directed by supervisor and perform these duties as required. Reports any unsafe conditions found in the plant. Fills out production forms in accordance with company policy and procedure

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • High School Level Math Skills
