About The Position

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Mixing/Blending Operator for their Mixing Department. This role is responsible for the preparation, mixing, and sealing of ingredient containers, concentrates, and syrup batches. The position requires maintaining high standards of product quality, food safety, and security, while accurately completing documentation and following safe work practices. Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in mixing, blending, or compounding in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, recipes, and procedures accurately.
  • Visual acuity to monitor equipment, detect quality issues, and ensure proper operation of production lines.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 65 lbs. for a distance of at least 5 feet.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods (up to 2 hours at a time) and performing repetitive motions.
  • Manual dexterity for handling small components and equipment adjustments.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require The Coca-Cola Company's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and mix syrup batches following precise mixing instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Weigh and set up ingredients for production batches.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation as required by company and regulatory standards.
  • Load and scan ingredients into mixing tanks using established protocols.
  • Inspect incoming ingredients for proper seals, fill levels, and packaging integrity.
  • Operate mixing equipment and execute cleaning cycles through computerized control systems.
  • Perform periodic ingredients and concentrate cycle counts.
  • Rework product batches as necessary to meet quality standards.
  • Wash, clean, and sanitize all equipment between flavor changes to avoid cross-contamination.
  • Safely operate, inspect, and maintain a forklift.
  • Comply with all Food Safety and Security policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and all safety procedures.
  • Unload HFCS, phosphoric acid, and caramel from rail cars following safety protocols.
  • Oversee ingredient inventory processes, including transporting products between areas.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
