About The Position

Litehouse is hiring a Mixer at its Hurricane, Utah facility. The Mixer is essential to the operation of the spice, prep, and testing mix systems. The position involves preparing detailed recipes, operating production machinery and batch automation systems, and maintaining accurate production and inventory records while following food safety and allergen-control procedures. Training is provided for the computer-based batch automation system. The listed shift is 223A, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the role may require flexible hours, frequent overtime, and weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
0–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
Ability to operate or learn computer-based batch automation technology.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
Comfortable regularly lifting up to 55 pounds.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-minded attitude.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems to produce recipes.
Operate batch automation computer systems.
Change over and wash out machinery between batches while following allergen protocols.
Keep the workspace and production area clean and organized.
Use scanners and inventory software to maintain inventory accuracy and follow FIFO practices.
Requisition ingredients and supplies and maintain accurate, timely production records.
Follow food safety policies and promptly report concerns to a supervisor.
Work flexible hours as needed, including frequent overtime and weekends.
