About The Position

Nellson is seeking a Mixer / Syrup Operator to join the BAR DIVISION at their Ontario, California location. This role is responsible for operating mixing equipment, including syrup preparation and dry mixing processes, supporting batching operations to ensure ingredients are accurately measured, mixed, and processed to meet product specifications. Operators will be trained across both syrup and mixing processes but assigned to a specific area per shift. The shift hours are 3pm - 3:30am, with weekend availability required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of manufacturing or mixing experience preferred.
Ability to perform batching and ingredient handling accurately.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on process area.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate syrup mixing equipment to prepare liquid ingredients used in production.
Operate mixing equipment to combine dry ingredients and syrup to produce dough or cereal blends.
Perform batching activities including weighing, measuring, and verifying ingredients.
Work independently in syrup mixing areas or as part of a team in dry mixing operations.
Ensure proper sequence and accuracy of ingredient addition during batching processes.
Monitor mixing processes to ensure product consistency and quality.
Perform basic equipment setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting as needed.
Maintain accurate production and batching records.
Follow all safety, quality, and food manufacturing procedures.
Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to meet sanitation standards.
Support cross-functional production operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
