Requirements

Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and heavy equipment
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence
Ability to follow instructions, schedules, and standard operating procedures
Effective communication skills and customer‑focused mindset
Capability to perform physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and equipment checks.
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
Ability to meet grooming standards necessary for safety requirements or work conditions.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 4,5 and 6‑axle truck or trailer truck to transport materials to and from worksites.
Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation
Coordinate deliveries with dispatch and customers to meet scheduling and quality expectations
Maintain accurate delivery and load documentation
Represent Heidelberg Materials through professional, safety‑focused interactions on site
