About The Position

Emergency Restoration Experts (ERX) is seeking a full-time Mitigation Technician to join their team. ERX specializes in emergency property restoration services for damages caused by water, fire, mold, storm, biohazard, and other conditions. The Mitigation Technician role involves assessing, rebuilding, and restoring homes and businesses after disasters, focusing on creating a superior customer experience. This role requires commitment to being part of an emergency response team, physical strength and stamina, and proficiency with tools.

Requirements

Attention to details in organization, cleanliness and care for facility, assets, and equipment.
Valid unrestricted driver's license.
Basic tech skills to use a smartphone/tablet and relevant software.
Availability to work overtime in response to emergency situations, which may include after hours, weekends, or holidays.

Nice To Haves

Experience in demolition, the restoration industry, and basic carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers in disaster response activities.
Repair and restore the structure.
Removal and replacement of damaged drywall, plumbing, and related materials.
Work with direct supervisor to ensure the team is unified and efficient.
Execution and implementation of appropriate mitigation procedures, as necessary, and following up as required to assure excellent customer service.
