About The Position

We’re excited that you are considering joining us at First Baptist Church of Edmond through Reliant! Reliant is a faith-based nonprofit that partners with missional churches and Gospel-centered nonprofits to mobilize support-based missionaries for the Great Commission. Through Reliant, we provide missionaries with the resources, training, and support needed to thrive in their calling, including the critical process of raising financial and prayer support. Whether you're pursuing a short-term internship, a long-term residency, or a career in ministry, we are here to support and guide you every step of the way. This application process involves several stages: Application, Ministry Assessment, Moral Conduct, Local Interview, Reliant Review, Decision/Discernment, Provisionally Accepted, and Onboarding. Note that once you begin a questionnaire within a stage, you must complete that stage fully as you cannot save within a stage. Please set aside ample time to complete each stage. Requirements

• Complete the initial application for Reliant.
• Undergo a Ministry Assessment to evaluate readiness for a ministry role.
• Undergo a Moral Conduct assessment to evaluate emotional and character-based readiness for a role in ministry.
• Participate in a Local Interview with church leadership.
• Be reviewed by Reliant, who will create a summary to discuss with the local church.
• Participate in a Decision/Discernment phase where Reliant and the church make an employment decision.
• If accepted, provisionally accept the offer.
• Complete onboarding, which includes online (and potentially in-person) training and HR paperwork.
