About The Position

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Space Principal/Sr. Principal Mission Validation Lead Systems Engineer for its Mission SEIT team. The role is located in Baltimore and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing on-orbit validation. The engineer may also perform other Mission SEIT duties, gaining exposure to the broader organization and customer. The position requires coordination across multiple sites and travel as the program approaches validation. Travel is listed as 25% of the time. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required at the time of application.

Requirements

• For Principal Engineer: a bachelor's degree in a STEM curriculum and 5 years of relevant experience, a master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. and 0 years of experience.
• For Sr. Principal Engineer: a bachelor's degree in a STEM curriculum and 8 years of relevant experience, a master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF analysis.
• Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required at the time of application.
• Ability to brief customers and leadership.
• Self-starter.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MatLab and/or building analysis tools.
