About The Position

Boeing is seeking an Experienced Mission Systems Electronic Warfare Analyst to join their Phantom Works team in Berkeley, MO. This team focuses on developing and integrating advanced Mission Systems components and technologies into demonstration systems. The role involves analyzing models for interferometry, beam-steering, geolocation, and other advanced electromagnetic problems. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) tools, knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EA, ES, EP), and radar systems. The analyst will collaborate with the software team to create physics-based models for mission planning and real-time calculations in embedded systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • Level 3: 5+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a master’s degree
  • Familiarity with Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) tools
  • Knowledge of Electronic Warfare to include advanced EA techniques, ES including interferometry and correlation based DF as well as geolocation, and EP features of radars and radar waveforms.
  • Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • Final Top Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.
  • Special Program Access for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Nice To Haves

  • Level 4: 9+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 7+ years of work-related experience with a master’s degree
  • Experience with avionics and/or mission systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate requirements for unique sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components.
  • Develop electrophysics models for interferometry, beam-steering, geolocation.
  • Develop trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component and system performance and to optimize design around complex requirements.
  • Develop new and improved modeling and simulation techniques.
  • Develop and execute critical tests to validate performance of designs to requirements.
