About The Position

In support of the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Headquarters Management and Administrative Support Services (H-MASS) contract, Systems Intelligence is pleased to deliver management expertise to AFNWC headquarters directorates and provide comprehensive administrative support to AFNWC Senior Leaders. This Mission Support Specialist role supports the Mission Support Management Division.

Requirements

  • An active SECRET security clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Tasker Management – Proven ability to effectively facilitate, distribute, and track official tasks and deadlines across multiple directorates or locations.
  • Program Support – Experience in a program or business management support capacity.
  • Communication – Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to compose business correspondence.
  • Collaboration – A proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse staff personnel to assemble information and complete products.
  • Organizational Awareness – The ability to understand and maintain awareness of the organization’s substantive programs, goals, priorities, and challenges to provide effective support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive and management support activities required for the seamless operation of AFNWC/DSM functions, to include printing and reviewing speeches, remarks, presentations, and publications, and in conjunction with Command Section support personnel and the Director of Staff, maintain, update, and cross-reference the Center’s Strategic and Nuclear Materiel Management Calendars daily.
  • Manage internal and external taskers received through official workflows and the Task Management Tool (TMT).
  • Monitor incoming emails from all assigned workflows, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks or disruptions.
  • Monitor, track, and update the status of all internal and external taskers, correspondence, and action items with the designated Government system and provide daily and quarterly reporting.
  • Act as a quality control checkpoint to ensure the highest accuracy of all staff packages, correspondence, and resources submitted to AFNWC Senior Leadership.
  • Create and maintain an effective and up-to-date Action Officer SharePoint site, ensuring easy access to current templates, memos, and training resources.
  • Prepare for, coordinate, assemble, and execute actions associated with key AFNWC meetings and forums, including the AFNWC bi-monthly Staff Meeting, Nuclear Materiel Management Meetings, and AFNWC corporate process meetings (Group, Board, and Council).
  • Organizing and facilitating staff meetings as needed (e.g., developing the agenda, coordinating with stakeholders for presentations, managing the meeting flow, documenting key decisions and action items, scheduling room/facility, and preparing IT/Video Teleconferencing (VTC).
