Anduril's Electronic Warfare (EW) division builds next-generation electronic warfare platforms — hardware-enabled, software-defined systems that are fielded, in production, and scaling from hundreds to thousands of units. The EW team operates at a tempo the defense industry isn't used to: delivering novel system configurations into active operations in days, not months, and iterating based on direct operator feedback from the field. We are building a new Mission Software Engineering (MSE) team to own the full software lifecycle for EW products — from development and integration through deployment, sustainment, and customer success. If you want to write software that ships to real missions on aggressive timelines, this is the team. We're looking for Mission Software Engineers who are strong generalists and fast learners. You don't need to be an expert in electronic warfare — you need to be the kind of engineer who can pick up any part of the stack, figure out how it works, and make it better. The problems here span embedded systems, backend services, data pipelines, deployment infrastructure, integration with Lattice OS, and operator-facing tools. You'll get deep exposure to RF and EW concepts on the job, working alongside domain experts. What matters most is your engineering fundamentals, your ability to ship reliable software under pressure, and your willingness to own problems end-to-end — from understanding the mission need to getting working code into the hands of operators.
