•$129,000 - $193,500•Onsite

About The Position

The Aerospace Corporation’s Digital Innovation Division is seeking a Mission IT Architect to develop architectures, technology strategies, and roadmaps for mission-critical computing environments. Working closely with the Chief Architect, this role addresses complex challenges across cloud computing, enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, data platforms, software environments, networking, and emerging technologies. It combines technical architecture with strategic analysis: understanding technologies, determining how they fit together at enterprise scale, evaluating constraints and tradeoffs, and translating findings into actionable recommendations. The position suits an experienced technical professional with depth in one or more technical areas who is ready to broaden into enterprise architecture and technology strategy. Expertise in every domain is not expected; strong technical fundamentals, systems thinking, intellectual curiosity, communication skills, and the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar technologies and complex environments are sought. The position is 100% onsite in El Segundo, California; Chantilly, Virginia; or Colorado Springs, Colorado, and occasional travel is required. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility. The annual pay range is $129,000 to $193,500, with individual pay based on factors including education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
