About The Position

Mission Integration Training Support Specialist The Opportunity: As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. As a Program and Project Management Specialist, you’ll bring your leadership, operational planning, and training expertise to work alongside thought leaders to develop, plan, and execute a training strategy for emerging Navy capabilities. You’ll work with us to create concepts of operations and integrate those concepts into exercise and training requirements. You’ll coordinate with the Navy Fleet and Service component training stakeholders to ensure the successful resourcing and execution of training plans and exercises supporting certification events. You’ll develop strategic communication products and support the development of training materials to keep pace with emerging capabilities. You’ll work closely with directors and staff to revise and execute training strategies and coordinate as an action officer across the Navy’s training enterprise. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a DoD professional, including interacting with O-6 or GS-15-level supervisors, directors, or commanding officers
  • Experience developing strategic communication products or briefs for senior military leaders
  • Experience with U.S. Navy operations and training requirements
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to integrate with stakeholders from multiple organizations as an action officer
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Navy Information operations or dominance, and electronic magnetic warfare or cryptology
  • Experience in DoD acquisition or weapons system training development
  • Experience in a U.S. Navy Warfighting Development Center such as the Naval Information Warfighting Development Center (NIWDC) or Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC)
  • Experience with Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR) manning and training processes
  • Master’s degree
  • Qualified Navy Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI) Certification
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) or similar Certification
