We are actively searching for a Mission Support Ground Field Service Specialist to serve as a systems administration subject matter expert to the customer for all support requirements in a fast-paced distributed ISR environment. Responsible for image quality analysis, data flows, troubleshooting and implementation of corrective actions while monitoring the health and status of equipment. Mission Support serves as the first responder to all issues related to the Raytheon product line by executing various system administration functions.

Requirements

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ of prior related work experience, an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ of prior related work experience, or in absence of a degree, 9 years’ of prior related work experience is required.
  • UNIX / Linux system administration and scripting experience.
  • Experience in avionic system maintenance and/or operation.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess or obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Experience providing viable courses of action to the customer based on timely assessment and analysis.
  • Integrity, reliability, and dedication in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, system data flow charts, and technical descriptions of the systems.
  • Ability to effectively use general and specialized test equipment to check-out and troubleshoot systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the health and status of the equipment.
  • Respond to all issues related to the Raytheon product.
  • Responsible for maintaining complex customer’s systems to include:
  • Integration Testing
  • Troubleshooting
  • Implementation of corrective actions
  • Personnel must be flexible enough to perform multi-shift/overtime requirements with little or no notice & will be 100% on-site at customer location in California
