Mission Integration Engineer
About The Position
Parsons is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer to join its space launch services team. The program provides rideshare opportunities for spacecraft and satellites aboard National Security Space Launch (NSSL) vehicles operated by ULA and SpaceX. The role leads integration activities for launch and/or spacecraft systems, coordinates technical project management, and works across engineering, operations, project teams, customers, and stakeholders. The position also supports system-level testing, troubleshooting, mission execution, and hands-on operations, including technician-level activities as needed. An active Secret security clearance is required. This position is part of Parsons’ Federal Solutions segment, which serves U.S. government customers across defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental missions.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree; additional years of experience may count in lieu of a degree.
- 8+ years of experience; additional education, training, and certifications may count toward the total years of experience.
- Technical project management experience.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Nice To Haves
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience supporting technical product lines or integration activities.
- Familiarity with launch and spacecraft integration processes.
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Lead integration activities for launch and/or spacecraft systems.
- Serve as the main point of contact with customers and stakeholder groups.
- Coordinate technical project management tasks and interface between engineering, operations, and project teams.
- Support system-level testing, troubleshooting, and mission execution.
- Manage technical requirements and ensure alignment between customer needs and operational timelines.
- Engage in hands-on operations and support technician-level activities as needed.
