About The Position

Victory Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynamo Technologies. Victory Solutions is a Small Disadvantaged Business providing quality technical and engineering services to NASA, the DoD, Industry and academia. Victory Solutions is seeking and experienced Mission Director to join our Sea-Based X-Band (SBX) Team. The selected candidate will serve as a Mission Director aboard the SBX while at sea on a rotational basis. Rotations can range from 75-90 days, followed by up to 60 days off.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working in a Maritime environment.
  • Experience interacting with Combatant Commanders.
  • Experience briefing high level DoD Military and Civilian personnel.
  • Experience deconflicting schedules in a complex operating environment and many different organizations.
  • Excellent written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities is a must.
  • Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel 75-100%.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Must have and maintain an active secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing in a deployed, remote work environment for extended periods of time.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or HS diploma and a minimum of 10 years related experience is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for mission planning, vessel movements, shipyard planning, Mission Integration crew rotations and scheduling, material movements, and test event coordination.
  • Cognizant of payload maintenance and, if necessary, de-confliction of maintenance that affects SBX readiness.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with supported elements to include: Combatant Commanders (COCOM), Commander Pacific Fleet (CPF), US Space Command (USSPACECOM), and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to integrate, facilitate, and de-conflict daily operations on SBX.
  • Responsible for coordination of flight test event planning, vessel positioning, and preparing SBX for all at sea/ashore operations.
  • Responsible for reviewing test plans and procedures.
  • Oversees execution of test events and management of personnel and equipment.
  • Responsible for execution of all events and overall site management of five payloads on SBX.
  • Daily oversite of the vessel is a 24/7 duty.
  • Remains available at all times for coordination with payload leads and customer.
  • Supports NORTHCOM, PACOM, STRATCOM and USSPACECOM in detailed mission planning for theater wide and Homeland Defense Missile Defense (MD) Operations and Integration into the evolving Space Domain Awareness architecture.
