About The Position

Peraton seeks a Mission Dependency Analyst to support USPACOM J6 in conducting site deployments across PACOM AOR. This role involves conducting on-site mission thread analysis (MTA) interviews, mapping dependencies, collecting and validating data, assessing resilience, and documenting findings. The analyst will coordinate with component staffs to validate data and resolve discrepancies. The position is located in Fort Meade (Annapolis Junction), MD or Honolulu, HI.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider Associate+10 or HS+12 years of experience.
  • Experience with mission thread analysis or mission dependency mapping
  • Familiarity with joint C2 functions and operational planning processes
  • Knowledge of USINDOPACOM component command structures
  • Strong structured data collection, documentation, and stakeholder interview skills
  • Eligibility and willingness for frequent OCONUS travel
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site mission thread analysis (MTA) interviews with component staff to trace mission-supporting communications and cyberspace dependencies
  • Map identity, service, and transport relationships supporting joint C2 at each component location
  • Collect and validate dependency data through structured interviews, data calls, and document review
  • Assess resilience, redundancy, and reconstitution capabilities at each site
  • Document all dependency findings in structured formats for handoff to Team 4 within 48 hours of return
  • Coordinate with component staffs to validate dependency data and resolve gaps or discrepancies
