About The Position

Come work for St. Agnes Home as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with the wonderful Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus located conveniently in Kirkwood at the corner of Woodlawn and Manchester Road! Licensed Practical Nurses at St. Agnes Home are responsible for the delivery of resident care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation. They are responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for their resident based on established clinical nursing practice standards. This role collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient resident care delivery and achievement of desired resident goals. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for meeting the established standards of their profession and for practicing within the scope of licensure adhering to state regulations. This role contributes to the provision of quality nursing care and demonstrates positive outcomes in resident care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse, in good standing, in the State of Missouri
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must successfully pass the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be able to provide a copy of his/her own social security card for W-4 documentation.
  • Must be able to provide applicable documentation(s) for I-9 in order to establish identity and authorization to work in the US.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and acceptable driving record (if required to drive).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred
