About The Position

As a Mission Assurance Planner, you’ll bring your leadership, planning, and subject matter expertise to work alongside thought leaders in the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility on projects including Homeland Defense, contingency planning, and critical infrastructure protection. You’ll use your skills and expertise to facilitate Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), bureaus, boards, cells, conferences, and working groups, and respond to or create Requests for Information (RFI). You will contribute to the analysis and evaluation of policy, processes, and systems related to client requirements. You will support related initiatives and requirements, including institutional and operational-level security cooperation capacity-building events, organizational assessments, and input into higher headquarters efforts. You will contribute to the synchronization of efforts in a matrix organization with multiple functional areas and provide written reports and briefs for senior military audiences. Requirements

8+ years of experience with Mission Assurance within the DoD
4+ years of experience with operational planning at the Corps level or above and the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) or Joint Planning Process
Experience with military operations and operational constraints across the USPACOM AOR
Knowledge of US Army Protection Warfighting Function and Homeland Defense Planning
Knowledge of Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS), Enterprise Mission Assurance Analysis Portal (eMAAP), and Enterprise Protection Risk Management (EPRM)
Ability to deliver verbal and written presentations to executive-level leadership
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Antiterrorism Officer Level II Certification

Ability to facilitate working groups and meetings with various organizations
Master’s degree
Completion of Military Education Level 4 Qualification Course, Senior NCO Professional Military Education, or Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education II
