About The Position

This role supports the Secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs (SAF/IA) by providing technical expertise to integrate U.S. Space Force mission area programs of record into the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) enterprise and enable export to international partners. The position involves coordinating with key stakeholders to support the Technology Release and Foreign Disclosure (TRFD) process, ensuring compliance with Air Force Policy. The engineer will also develop and deliver high-quality written products and briefings to executive-level leadership to report programmatic milestones.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, mathematics, electrical engineering, or computer science field
• 6+ years of experience with space operations
• 3+ years of experience with the mission area
• Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and FMS policies, processes, and stakeholders
• Ability to use MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate at the executive level

Nice To Haves

• Experience with TRFD (Technology Release and Foreign Disclosure) policy and processes
• Knowledge of Senior and executive leadership’s role in security assistance and FMS and their relationships to key stakeholders
• Ability to use Power Apps such as Power BI
• TS/SCI clearance
