About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Architecture Validation team as a Missile Defense System Architecture Assessment Engineer by developing and maintaining the QlikSense-based Capability Gap Tracker tool.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12 years' experience on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program or project with a master’s degree in a STEM field.
  • Minimum of an active Secret clearance
  • Ability to work independently to analyze and solve problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Proficient with QlikSense development
  • Experience with MBSE
  • Previous MDA experience
  • Experience with Missile Defense System architecture planning and design
  • Experience in or the ability to quickly qualify for access to Special Access Programs (SAP)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and management of the QlikSense-based Capability Gap Tracker (CGT) tool, to include reviewing, updating, and organizing gaps and threats
  • Work closely with other MDA organizations to help them understand and leverage the CGT while gaining insight into elements that make up the missile defense system
  • Attend regular meetings with Joint Staff and Combatant Commands to support CGT Development
  • Attend meetings and provide input to support Missile Defeat Wargames
