About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Architecture Validation team as a Missile Defense System Architecture Assessment Engineer by developing and enhancing the QlikSense-based Capability Gap Tracker tool.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field
3+ years of experience supporting missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs/projects
Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
Experience working with and analyzing large data sets
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

Active TS/SCI Clearance
Working knowledge of Missile Defense Systems (MDS) components, architectures, concepts, and threats, with demonstrated understanding through analysis activities
Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
Working knowledge of Systems Engineering processes including Model-Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering strategies
Experience with Digital Engineering tools and platforms such as Cameo, Palantir, or similar technologies

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to the Architecture Validation Team within MDA's Chief Architect's Office
Assist in the development and management of the QlikSense-based Capability Gap Tracker (CGT) tool, to include reviewing, updating, and organizing gaps and threats
Develop dashboards and data visualizations within the Capability Gap Tracker to support reporting, analysis, and architecture decision-making
Work closely with other MDA organizations to help them understand and leverage the CGT while gaining insight into elements that make up the missile defense system
Engage with cross-functional teams and Capability Gap Tracker users to identify reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions that improve decision support capabilities
