About The Position

InDyne is a full-service military, civilian and commercial operations company. The SSPARS Missile Defense Radar Operator (MDRO) will report directly to the MDRO Site Lead. This position will be located at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, CO. The role involves providing Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR) operations, technical services, and operations support on a 24/7 basis. The MDRO will interface with Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation (AFOTEC) and other military and contractor personnel to support various testing activities, including Development, Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E), and Installation, Checkout and Evaluation (ICE) testing. The position also requires participation in LRDR exercises and inspections, and providing operational activity support, including the development and updates of LRDR and C2BMC Operator Tactics, TTPs, and SOPs. The role demands completion of all required certification training and conducting operational reporting on a 24/7 basis, including daily reports of operational activities. The MDRO will perform BMD mission taskings, accomplish support requests, and document operations, security events, equipment status, software changes, weather, shift changes, and other significant events in an operations log. Additionally, the role involves accomplishing SDA taskings and support requests from the 18th Space Control Squadron (18 SPCS) and/or the National Space Defense Center, and communicating/collaborating with CSpOC, MDA, and other external agency personnel regarding space catalog data, mission status coordination, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
  • Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
  • Employment and start date are contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Space Operations (Space Control, Space Surveillance, Space Lift, etc.), scheduling, and reporting is desired but not required.
  • Experience in Space sensor operations, such as Space Surveillance Network sensors, is highly desired but not required.
  • Prior military or Government experience and experience with Air Force Space Command sensor operations, radar or electro-optical sensors, and space surveillance operations are highly desired.
  • Experience in electronics and engineering is desired.
  • Associates degree desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR) operations, technical services, and operations support of equipment to meet sensor mission support requirements on 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week (24/7) basis.
  • Interface with Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation (AFOTEC) and other military personnel, as well as other contractor personnel, to support testing activities such as Development, Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E), and Installation, Checkout and Evaluation (ICE) testing.
  • Participate in LRDR exercises and inspections.
  • Provide operational activity support to include development/updates of LRDR and C2BMC Operator Tactics, TTPs and SOPs.
  • Attend and complete all required certification training.
  • Conduct operational reporting on a 24-hours-a-day, 7-days- a-week (24/7) basis.
  • Provide a daily report of operational activities as specified by HHQ.
  • Perform BMD mission taskings and accomplish support requests.
  • Document operations, security events, equipment status, authorized software changes, weather, shift changes, changing of the Zulu day, and any other significant events in an operations log.
  • Accomplish SDA taskings and support requests from the 18th Space Control Squadron (18 SPCS) and/or the National Space Defense Center.
  • Communicate and collaborate with CSpOC, MDA and other external agency personnel regarding space catalog data, mission status coordination and reporting.
