A specialty steel fabrication shop located in Frenchtown, NJ is seeking a Miscellaneous Steel Detailer to join their team. Typical projects include: stairs, rails, ladders etc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drafting and design within steel construction industry.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SDS2 or Tekla
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication and construction processes
- Knowledge of AISC and AWS standards
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed steel shop drawings and fabrication details
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications
- Maintain organized documentation of all design revisions and project files
