The main role of the MIS Systems Support I position is to provide excellent customer service and efficiently resolve any and all electronic equipment needs, from phones to computers to software programs. This individual will need to have technical knowledge of both hardware and software, quality service, and excellent organizational skills. Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Provide technical support for computer hardware and software, telephone systems, network, operating systems, and all other things technology-based. Respond to the help desk contacts to quickly resolve issues and meet user’s needs. Perform installs, upgrades, moves, changes from computer workstation hardware and software, printers, and laptops. Read and understand technical specifications, drawings, and instructions. Maintain an accurate database of equipment, repairs, and inventory. Update training and user guides for equipment. Multitasking to prevent issues and handle immediate needs.
