Intern- Minor League Technology Operations
About The Position
As part of Technology Operations, the Tech Ops Intern assists baseball operations staff with technology needs at Milwaukee Brewers minor league affiliates. The role includes accurately importing game data into the BATS Video System, tracking pitch type, location, and result, and uploading the data to the Brewers system so remote and front office staff can review video. The intern operates approved technology to track players’ on-field work before games and completes special projects assigned by the Coordinator – Tech Operations and front office. The intern works closely with coaches, players, and front office staff and contributes to technology projects and initiatives. The Brewers describe the role as offering hands-on experience, opportunities for work to be showcased, and feedback and recognition for contributions.
Nice To Haves
- Recently graduated from an accredited college or university.
- Experience in baseball operations is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accurately import game data into the BATS Video System, tracking pitch type, location, and result.
- Upload game data to the Brewers system so remote and front office staff can review video.
- Operate approved technology, including Hawkeye, Blast, Trackman, Rapsodo, and KinaTrax when necessary, to track players’ on-field work before games.
- Complete special projects assigned by the Coordinator – Tech Operations and front office.
- Assist baseball operations staff with technology needs at Brewers minor league affiliates.
