About The Position

Lake Mead Christian Ministries (LMCM) Minister - Food Services Job Type: Full-Time Department: Food Services Reports to: North/South Kitchen Manager (pending hiring campus) Compensation: $14.35/hourly Job Summary: Duties of the Minister - Food Services include but are not limited to: Café Barista, food prep, and assisting with cooking, cleaning, and serving in the LMCA Kitchen. Required Spiritual Qualities Acknowledges Christ as Savior and lives life as His devoted disciple. Supports the LMCM Mission by making disciples of Jesus Christ through community. Demonstrates spiritual flourishing through personal disciplines of prayer, Bible study, and outreach to others. Believes the Bible to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God. Agrees with and actively supports the LMCM Statement of Faith. Shows evidence of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in interactions with people. Has a Christ-centered home. Attends and actively participates in a local evangelical church.

Requirements

• Kitchen experience preferred
• Must have the ability to lift heavy items and be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Position will require a Food Handler's Card from the Southern Nevada Health District.

Responsibilities

• Barista duties include cashier, service, and making café drinks
• Preps food
• Restocks inventory
• Provides cleaning and dishwashing
• Has great customer service
• Provides cooking and food line duties
• Other duties as the supervisor deems necessary.
