As a Supervisor of Food Services, you will plan and lead all aspects of the activities and personnel of the food service operations. Your primary responsibilities include supervising food production and service; ensuring that food served is nutritious and appealing, supervises staff, review and update policies and procedures, implement and maintain quality and cost control procedures; and maintain professional proficiency and skills required for professional practice. #Jobs-Indeed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/Ged - Required
  • Three (3) years of Food and Nutrition Service Experience required (Healthcare food service experience is highly desirable)
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience in Nutrition and Food Service Experience (Healthcare food service experience is highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Knowledge and experience with therapeutic diet preparation.
  • Strong leadership, management and mentoring skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable health and safety standards.
  • Communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate with management, client, customer and associate levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate/College Degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management or related field - Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree - Nutrition, Food Service Management or related field - Preferred
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)- Preferred
