Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Minibar Attendant to join our F&B team to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience. Requirements
- Previous experience with Shiji and Dometic Mini Bar systems.
- Ability to maintain inventory and order food and beverage items on a regular basis
- Able to work under pressure
- Work authorization in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Previous room service/mini bar experience in a luxury hotel preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all activities related to mini bar, which includes, organization, preparation, performing service as per standards set by the hotel
- Perform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service for all guests
- Understand and accurately follow mini bar procedures as per standards and policies in place
- Ensure usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools, and service equipment
- Handle and organize all inventory required by Mini Bar.
- Observe and maintain daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in Mini Bar, public area, and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
