About The Position

Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Part-time Mini Load Picking, you will help facilitate the movement of product from our distribution center to company owned branches. When an order is placed by a branch it is queued into the system to be picked. Product is brought on a conveyor belt directly to your work station, where you will pick the requested quantity, pack the order, print a label with a routing number and send the product to the next department, Sortation. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 1225 Mid Valley Dr, Jessup, PA 18434. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Requirements

Proficient written and oral communication skills
Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Prior experience operating a forklift

Responsibilities

Picking orders and packing product efficiently and accurately
Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product
Using a scale for weighing product
Verifying inventory being picked matches request
Verifying package quantities and counts
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
