About The Position

As a Mini Bar Attendant at Hotel Paso Del Norte, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional luxury guest experience by ensuring all in-room minibars are fully stocked, clean, organized, and accurately inventoried. You will be responsible for replenishing food and beverage items, recording guest consumption, maintaining inventory controls, and ensuring all minibar products meet the hotel's quality standards. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, honesty, and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest level of guest privacy and professionalism. Your efforts directly contribute to guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue generation for the hotel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push a fully stocked minibar cart.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as business demands.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid TABC Seller-Server Certification (if required).
  • Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate inventory counts and guest billing.
  • Time management skills are necessary to efficiently service all assigned guest rooms while meeting daily productivity goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills help maintain inventory accuracy and product quality.
  • Integrity and accountability are critical when handling guest room merchandise and posting charges.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills allow for effective collaboration with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and Food & Beverage teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in hospitality, retail, food and beverage, housekeeping, or inventory control preferred.
  • Previous hotel minibar, room service, housekeeping, or food and beverage experience.
  • Experience with inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Knowledge of luxury hospitality service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Service assigned guest room minibars daily in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Replenish beverages, snacks, and amenities while maintaining proper product rotation (FIFO).
  • Accurately record consumed items and ensure guest charges are posted correctly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of minibars, refrigerators, and surrounding guest room areas.
  • Inspect inventory for expired, damaged, or missing products and replace as needed.
  • Restock minibar carts and storage areas while maintaining organized inventory.
  • Report maintenance concerns, damaged minibars, or guest room deficiencies to the appropriate department.
  • Assist with monthly inventory counts and inventory reconciliation.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, hotel security, and TABC regulations.
  • Maintain guest privacy and professionalism while servicing occupied guest rooms.
