About The Position

ISS is currently seeking an experienced Minesite Cleaning Supervisor to lead our minesite cleaning department at our site in regional Queensland. This role is responsible for supervising operations, ensuring contract compliance, safety leadership, and maintaining high presentation standards across the village.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in cleaning and hospitality
• Full working rights in Australia
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport to site
• Strong understanding of Safe Work Practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-managed environment
• Physically fit and conditioned to Central Queensland weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Commitment to safety and compliance with site standards
• Ability to pass a functional pre-employment medical, Drug & Alcohol Test and Police Clearance

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Minesite Cleaning department operations across the mining village.
• Lead safety compliance, safe work practices, and risk management on site
• Conduct inspections and report on grounds condition and required improvements
• Allocate tasks, support training, and provide leadership to grounds team members
• Assist with general hand and utility duties as required by site operations
• Liaise with site management to ensure service delivery expectations are met
