About The Position
Hudbay Minerals Inc. is seeking a Mine Surveyor at its Lalor Mine in Snow Lake, MB. This position operates on a 7/7 schedule and reports to the Chief Mine Engineer. A camp is available for those who wish to drive in and out to Snow Lake during their shift. This is not a fly-in-fly-out position. The primary function of this role is to survey and take measurements of development headings and stopes to update plans, direct miners for line and grade, and gather information for bonus calculations.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years underground planning and surveying experience
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to work with minimal direction
- Ability to drive underground
- Include all required tickets, training, education or experience requirements to be considered qualified for the position.

- Graduate of approved Technological or Engineering Program
