About The Position

The Mine Dewatering Coordinator supports safe and efficient mining operations by overseeing contractor field activities and working closely with operations teams to plan, install, and maintain dewatering systems. This role assists with the design and deployment of the mine‑wide dewatering layout, ensuring resources are aligned with mine sequencing and availability. The coordinator also supports permitting and regulatory compliance by assisting with the installation of observation, test, and hydration wells.

Requirements

• High School/GED
• 5+ years of Mine Operations experience and Supervisor Experience
• Leadership and clear communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders to meet goals and objectives.
• Experience with MS Office

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree
• Surface phosphate mining experience
• Geology experience

Responsibilities

• Provide field supervision for contractors and coordinate with appropriate operations staff involved in the construction of dewatering systems
• Assist in planning the mine‑wide dewatering array layout, ensuring efficient use of resources based on availability and mine sequencing
• Writing required statements of work (SOWs), managing billing and supplies inventory.
• Report on dewatering effectiveness and efficiency, including water-jack usage and effectiveness based on data analysis
