About The Position

Hartmann Canada Inc, a division of Hartmann North America and the world leader in moulded fibre egg cartons, is seeking a skilled Millwright to join their talented Maintenance team. The demand for moulded fibre and environmentally sustainable products is rapidly increasing, and Hartmann has invested in this area to meet growing demand. The Millwright will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all building and equipment as required.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
Ability to read & interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications in order to provide troubleshooting and repair services
Mechanical Aptitude and willingness to assist in all maintenance projects as required
Excellent communication skills to interact with the team, customers and suppliers about operational matters

Responsibilities

Lead and assist major equipment installations, set-up and repairs of production machines/equipment, complete work orders
Perform general and major repairs to building installations, including heating, plumbing, and other building equipment as required
Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
Make parts, simple tools and gauges as required
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
