About The Position
Valor Specialized Rigging is hiring experienced Millwrights who know how to work around cranes, execute complex picks, and install equipment the right way the first time. This is not a maintenance role, this is field work tied to heavy lifts, tight tolerances, and critical path schedules. We’re looking for people who take ownership and move with urgency while maintaining a Safety First mindset.
Requirements
- 3+ years of millwright experience in construction or industrial settings
- Proven experience working around cranes and heavy rigging operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment setting and alignment
- Ability to read and interpret prints, rigging plans, and layout drawings
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as required
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10/30 preferred
Responsibilities
- Execute precision setting, alignment, and installation of heavy industrial equipment
- Work directly with crane operators and rigging crews during critical lifts and placements
- Read and work from rigging plans, lift drawings, and equipment layouts
- Perform layout, leveling, and final alignment to spec
- Identify and solve field issues without slowing down the job
- Maintain control of work areas with a strong focus on safety and execution
