About The Position

We are seeking applicants for a Millwright in our International Falls, MN Paper Mill. The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of 2-year technical program.
• 3+ years’ experience as an industrial millwright or maintenance mechanic or the completion of a formal 4-year millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid current driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a paper or other manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in support of a paper manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
• Perform precision alignment of motors, machinery, and equipment.
• Responsible for the installation of bearings and predictive and preventative motor maintenance.
• Perform advanced pump repair, arc welding, proper riggings.
• Ability to use mobile cranes, lifts, and hoists.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
