About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Apprentice Millwrights for projects located in the Lakeview, OR area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $27/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety standards and report or correct hazards immediately
• Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair manufacturing systems
• Welding, fabricating, and fitting
• Hydraulics and pneumatics work
• Read blueprints and schematics
• Machinery alignment and leveling
• Rigging, lifting, and setting
• Carpentry, plumbing, and machining
• Concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and layout
• Fabricate parts and assist in machinery assembly
• Identify developing mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Document work order progress using a maintenance tracking system
• Conduct startup and shutdown inspections
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Perform additional duties as assigned
